The best hut in the entirety of das Zillertal. We came here many times as it's the hut on black slope of the kaltenbach valley run, this does sadly make it a hut only accessible by skilled skiers, its also located on the steepest point of the entire run, so you will see many people fall as you enjoy a drink or some food if you are sitting outside
This hut is a perfect start to your après ski as they have happy hour for schnapps between 3 and 5, we did this every day we were in kaltenbach.
Next to this they also have excellent food. I tried a delicious apfelstrudel with a very generous amount of vanilla sauce. Moreover, I had the best Tiroler Gröstl I have ever had in my life, with every bite being absolutely delightful and full of flavour. It's also important to say that both the food and the drinks are some of the cheapest you can find on the mountain.
The people running this place are very kind, offering free schnapps and always being happy to have a little chat, just proper mountain folk. The hut itself also feels very cozy and is very old school in looks!
I can conclude that I will 100% come back to this hut and that I would recommend anyone who has the ability to go here to check them out, just don't fall on your way here.- Service

Absoluter Tipp! Das Schistadl liegt kurz vor der Mittelstation direkt an der Eberharter Goldpiste. Sehr familiäres Ambiente, toller Service und definitiv super leckeres Essen! Ich hatte die Tiroler Gröstl, wirklich gut! Nachmittags gibt es nen doppelten Schnaps zum Preis eines Einfachen. Draußen sitzen ist unterhaltsam, da es auf der Piste immer was zu sehen gibt.

A definite must! The Schistadl is located just before the mid-station, right on the Eberharter Gold piste. A very friendly atmosphere, great service, and definitely delicious food! I had the Tyrolean Gröstl, really good! In the afternoon, they offer a double shot of schnapps for the price of a single shot. Sitting outside is fun, as there's always something to see on the slopes.

Top Hütte mit sehr gutem Essen, tollem Ambiente und sehr freundlichen Servicekräften. Ich war ab ca. 13:30 an einem Sonntag da und es war nicht überlaufen. Dazu kommt noch ein top Preis-Leistungsverhältnis: Hauptgerichte wie Schnitzel mit Pommes für unter €15.

Das beste Restaurant im Skigebiet! Die Luxners und das Personal sind super freundliche Menschen, das Essen schmeckt sehr gut und auch Preis-Leistung ist gut. In jedem Winterurlaub mindestens einmal ein Muss für unsere Gruppe!

Noch eine richtig schön gemütliche klassische Skihütte. Super leckeres Essen, entspanntes Ambiente und gab sogar ein Schnäpsle :) Gibt außerhalb der gedruckten Karte auch noch Gerichte von der Tafel, wir hatten Schnitzel, Käsespätzle und Kaiserschmarrn👍🏼 sehr zu empfehlen.

Nachdem wir das Schistadl für uns entdeckt hatten sind wir täglich eingekehrt. Super Essen und die Wirtin ist einfach zum knutschen. Kein Schicki Mickie sondern einfach nur Hütte so wie es sein sollte
